Project CKC (Clothing Kills Cancer) isn’t just a clothing line — it’s a movement born from love, loss, resilience, and purpose. Every design carries meaning. Every purchase creates impact. And every person who wears this brand becomes part of a growing community of fighters, survivors, and supporters who believe that creativity can fuel compassion.
This mission started with one man: founder Antonius Melton, who turned heartbreak into hope.
Where the Story Begins
In 2015, Antonius’s world shifted forever. His father, known lovingly by friends and family as A.T., passed away on April 25th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was first diagnosed with lung cancer on January 3rd, 2013. He beat a brain tumor with unbelievable strength but ultimately, when the cancer spread into his bones, the battle came to an end.
Watching someone you love fade in front of you is a pain that never leaves you. Many of you reading this know exactly what that feels like watching the healthy body you recognize become frail… seeing the face you love lose its glow… sitting with the emotional, physical, and financial toll that cancer brings to both patients and families.
It is gut-wrenching, exhausting, and life-altering.
Antonius lived through all of it. And instead of letting the pain break him he turned it into purpose.
From Loss to Legacy
Cancer doesn’t just attack the body. It drains energy, emotions, finances, and hope. Treatments, medications, appointments, and bills pile up often while income disappears. And Antonius asked himself:
“What if I could help take away one piece of that burden?
What if fashion could become a form of support, healing, and honor?”
That question became Project CKC.
Every purchase from Project CKC generates a contributed donation that directly supports individuals battling cancer. These funds help with treatment costs, prescriptions, transportation, and everyday expenses that become overwhelming during the fight.
No — clothing cannot kill cancer.
But it can kill some of the negativity that surrounds it. It can lift spirits. It can restore dignity. And it can remind someone that they are not fighting alone.
The Mission Moving Forward
What started as a personal vision of healing has grown into a powerful movement grounded in community. Through limited-edition drops, collaborations, and pop-up events across Western New York and beyond, Project CKC channels creativity into real-world impact.
